Some Aspects of Love

Some Aspects of Love is YOON CHO’s video performance of short juxtaposed readings from Lover’s Discourse by the linguist, Roland Barthes and instructions and warnings from a glue (Stik'n Seal Adhisive) explores the emotion of love.

The reading of the book on subject of love gets lost in words and detached from emotion. On the other hand, the reading of what is seemingly dry instructions and warning texts from the glue, which bonds two elements together, becomes full of emotion. Some Aspects of Love examines displacements in our preoccupations of expectancy with humor.
